DescriptionGrotesque human face applied to wall of a finely-made vessel of a special "elite" ware ("thin-orange") probably made in Puebla and imported and often re-exported by Teotihuacan "pochteca" (merchants). Surviving vessel fragment with highly-burnished interior identifies this piece.
