DescriptionBasket made of tortora reed and split cane. Spindles, spindle whorls, small cucumber-like gourd spinning cup?, gourd disk?, cotton, spun cotton yarn. cane pieces incised--part of offertory loom? Wood or cane pyro-engraved. Cotton with seeds--2 different colors, cones wrapped. 1 spindle whorl, miniature jar (should be part of a pair). Cactus or thorn-plant thorns with twine, probably a comb for teasing out the cotton fibers.On View
