DescriptionPhoto of 4 monks dressed white robes around well. The round well in the center of the image is pedistalled on three steps. Two columns rise out of the well with an iron decoration joining the two at the top with a sun like figure at the pinnacle. A pulley and chain attach to a bucket where one monk bend over to drink from the bucket. Another monk stands behind the well, with a white beard and his hood up. To the right is a bald monk who stands leaning on a pillar. Sitting below him is another monk who also leans against the pillar while he reads. What appears to be a garden is behind the well and beyond that is a low building with 9 arches and 3 chimneys. Photo is matted; glued onto a gray board. Photo is very light in exposure. On View
