DescriptionFour sketches of what appear to be indentified as a series depicting a column capital and its being rolled by free hands. The upper left sketch depicts a standing column. The upper right shows column capital thicken and darken but with a forming hand on top of the column. Lower left depicts a hand and wrist holding the rounded, curved part of the capital, which has same sort of detail of a tiny series of hill-like shapes. The final depiction on that right has a hand holding the unveiled colum in a similar fashion to the one on its left but this is the end of the column is visible as well as one of the hand figures is extended. Ink blot on near right corner.
