DescriptionBox made of light weight wood, varnished black. Wood exposed on inner part of lid (missing some cushioning), splatter marks of varnish. Silk covered board inside of box, cream colored with elastic loops to hold combs. All combs are made of orange-ish plastic material and have rounded tops. Comb 1: 10.5 cm long. No decorative attachment
Comb 2: 18 cm long. Decorative attachment of 30 crane flowers and ferns and a turtle. (Attachment slips over rounded top.)
Comb 3: 13.5 cm long. No rounded top, instead 30 fern decorations, decorative fern, flower and turtle attachment (slips on bottom of comb)
Comb 4: 18 cm long. With broken flower attachment.
Comb 5: 10.5 cm long. With crane and flower attachment.
Comb 6: 24 cm long. Plain long stick with black in the middle. Many broken bits of decorative attachments. Two larger flowers, two cranes, two flower and turtle portions and assorted flower and fern remains. Also, half a comb.
