DescriptionNot a well-made example of a Katana. Possibly it is a panade sword, one made for tourists or maybe, a sloppy repair job of a nicer blade. The blade appears chromed. The handle (which is typically made of sharkskin wrapped in cloth) is missing the skin (except for some remnants near the end) and shows signs of gluing. The Tsuba (guard) is simple and not particularly well-made. There is a button on the sword that corresponds to a piece on the scabbard (the sword has the female end, the scabbard has the male end). The scabbard is wooden, wrapped in leather (which is held by 2 more buttons). It has a ring attached, through which a pair of tassels are hung.On View
