DescriptionDouble-edge, basket-hilt sword. Cut-and-thrust broad bladed sword with cup hilt and 23.5cm double fuller extending from guard. Guard features decorative relief images with engraving reading "Anno De 1571" just below blade. Long quillions extend out from hilt. Images engraved along fuller on both sides (see drawing on paper record) of stars, moon, sun, and sword in hand.On View
