DescriptionHeavy dark stone pounding tool. Stone is rather roughly shaped and is fairly flat on three sides. A large hole 3.5 cm has been bored through the stone near the long flat side. Above the hole on either side of the stone are grooved cuts into the stone. Stone may have been hafted onto a wooden pole and used as a sledge hammer, or may have been held in the hand.
