DescriptionWide, flat bottomed canoe model. "Bird-like" head at bow indicates that this is a model of a Nootka type canoe. Semi-circular shaped designs along bow and stern painted in black and blue paint. Vertical lines of black dots at bow and stern are indicative of a Nootkan artist. No design on middle or inside of canoe. Some paint on rim of canoe. Design is identical on both sides of the canoe. The wood is very light in color. Two knot holes show on the inside of the canoe.On View
