DescriptionRough wooden rectanglular box on slightly larger base piece. Decorated with red and black paint. On the two wider sides, each has two mimmiform figures, possibly the God Anubis, jackal headed who weighed the souls of the dead before Osiris, and the mummy of the deceased. Beneath the figures red linear design. Corners painted red. The top is roughly convex with a red perched hawk mounted in the middle with a peg through the hole. Box is pegged together.On View
