-gold, gold-plated case, brass inner case for movement
-jeweled brass cover over movement in back of watch
-adjuster reads "retard" and "avance"
-back of case is embossed with a relief scene of a man talking to a seated woman
-in scene, more artistic care is taken with surrounding embellishments and the potted plant than with either figure
-rope chain motif on back bezel and side of case
-glass over face is slightly scratched and pock-marked
-beautiful engraving working on bezel around front face
-extremely elaborate face with twin archers on front in relief which originally moved to hammer
-lions are in relief under these figures - two bells
-dial is simple enamel with painted numbers and jeweling in metal on inside of dial
