DescriptionAstrological charm box from Tibet. Animals depicted on front represent those used to make up the year name of a cycle of the Tibetan era. Nine Mewa (magical numbers) are in the center, make 15 no matter which way you add them. Brown in color. Back of box has characters and a single central design. Two cylindrical, hollow metal pieces, one on each longer side.
