Chinese characters on opposite side. Round covered ivory stamp pad, with scene of trees, rocks, and boat on cover. Card inside addressed to "His Honorable William B. Franke." Note inside imprinted "Mrs. Ni Yue-Si." Note handwritten "His Honorable"/May I have the honor to present to you a chop/with your full name inscribed in Chinese as/a reminder of your most/welcomed visit to Taiwan/China. Respectfully/Adm.
