DescriptionTwo men of middle age, wearing caps and smoking long pipes are seated in the corner of a balcony overlooking the Thames; two boats with single masts, one with fulled sail and the other with partly full sail, are beached on the near shore, in front of a large warehouse; along the river stretched a row of warehouses, beyond which is seen the dome of St. Paul's; on the river at the left is a large barge and in the distance is other shipping
