DescriptionPair of embroidered Manchu-style shoes of red silk with gold and silver thread embroidery. Blue silk piping along the top of the shoes which are lined with red cotton. Cotton ankle ties are attached inside the heel. The soles are covered with thick green paint. The stilts are hollow and each contain a bell. Embroidery of lotus pod, flowers, birds (or crickets?).
