DescriptionHand-blown wineglass with etched and gilded decoration and loopings in the stem. The bell shaped bowl is decorated in two panels, each surrounded by two flowering branches surmounted by a crown. Enclosed in one panel are the initials "ELL" and the word "anno." In the other is "FLL" and "Ao 1799." All of the engraving has been gilded. The stem features milky glass in a helix form through the center with a milky banding that is twisted around the outside. The stem has an angular knop and the plain, conical foot has a rough pontil mark.On View
