DescriptionChair of simple design, possibly teakwood. The seats are of bamboo caning, 19" tall surrounded by 4 mitered pieces of wood making up the outside of the seat - back is a simple framework with a wider slat down the center. The back slants at a comfortable angle. The four legs extend from the seat to the floor at an angle so they are farther apart at the floor than at the top. Aprons on all four sides below seats. Stretchers across the bottom connecting the legs. The one on front is lowest and has an apron below it. The side stretchers are the highest. See 1970.14.10On View
