DescriptionNo. 1 of Hudson River Portfolio, "162" in erased pencil lower left margin, Falls and rough waters running from right to left, rocky bank on left with large white house and other white buildings on top of knoll. By Falls on farside are 2 grey buildings. Man fishing on low rocky ledge this side of river. Hillsides of evergreens, some free fields. Large straggy tree with some orange leaves growing on rocks, jutting out toward river on this bank. 1st issue -On View
