DescriptionWhite glazed plate decorated with brown glaze. The front of the plate depicts a scene on the Hudson River, with landscape, buildings, people on the near bank, and a paddle boat. The outer edge of the plate is covered in an ornate floral pattern in the same brown glaze. The decoration appears to be printed, rather than painted. The back is plain white except for a little description set inside a small landscape of water, rocks, and a sail boat, which reads: "Picturesque View West Point Hudson River" on three lines, in script.
