DescriptionThe visionary form of the Almighty wound with coils of a serpent hovering above Job's bed; his hair resembles tongues of flame on his head and on his beard; his gaze is on Job; with right hand, Jehovah points to Tables of the Law which are wreathed in lightning, and with left hand points into a gulf below; demons rise from seething black flames and endeavor to drag Job's body down and bind it with chains; margin is filled with flames.
