DescriptionA signed note for twenty shillings. The note states on front: This Indented Bill shall pass current for Twenty Shillings within the Govern___ of the countie of ____,_____,____ent, and St___ or Delaware, according to an Act of Assembly of the said Government, made in the 32 year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George II. Dated on the first Day of June, 1759. TWENTY SHILLINGS. On the back it has the printers name, and "To counterfeit is DEATH" There is a lion at the center bottom. There are traces of brown ink where the note was signed.
