DescriptionView of the Meeting House in Weathersfield from the maple laned common; it was built by the Congregational Society; in the early 60's alterations were made to segregate the civil from the religious meetings; the box pews and the high pulpit were removed and an upper floor was laid on the level of the gallery to serve thence forth, as the meeting house; the facade is notable for very lovely Palladian window, bearing the date of the erection painted on its cornice; in the pediment is an unusually shaped fan window; the doors are notable for thier excellent proportions and panelling as well as for good wrought iron latches and strap hinges; spider web window in tower.
