DescriptionA sheet of four uncut and uncirculated bank notes. The top three notes are for five dollars and feature a harbor view with several ships. The bottom note is for ten dollars and features a scene with the signing of the declaration of independence. Black ink printed on white paper. Sheet of four unsigned, uncut bank notes printed in black. The top three five dollar notes have in the center top a sea scene with ships. On the left is an oval of a man in a stetson type hat. Underneath is an oval with the Vt. seal, Freedom and Unity. On the right is an oval of George Washington. The bottom ten dollar note has a meeting scene with men gathered around a table at the top center. On the left is an oval of a man in thought with his hand on his head. Below this is the Vt. seal, Freedom and Unity. All notes have; The State of Vermont, The Commercial Bank, Will pay (five, ten) Dollars to B. Franklin or bearer on demand. Burlington, January 1st 18__,____cash, ____Pres., Danforth & Huftly, New York & Philad. The five dollar notes have an eagle at the bottom center of the note. The ten dollar note has an oval of an iron worker. All notes are covered scratches due to a scratches late.
