DescriptionThe view is of the Congregational church from the Brandon Inn; "Running back from the street and snuggled away under tall shade trees is an old cemetary at the very heart of Brandons business center; Near its tombstones stands the oldest church of the village"; "Facing Park St. and the east, with a comanding view of the Green Mtns., is located the Congregatioal Church whose history goes back a century and a half; This distinctive architectural structure, with its graceful white steeple and beautiful Gothic windows set into recesses along its red brick walls was erected by Davis Warren and Nyram Clark in 1831, at a cost of nearly $5,000"; In foreground, left and top is a large maple tree; In the lower right hand corner is a portion of an automobile.On View
