DescriptionThis is a photograph of a winding stairway in the Ransom-Granger house in Castleton; "Noadish Granger purchased a large tract of land upon which he built his home in 1807; He was a carpenter and a joiner as well as a farmer; The stairway is said to be the design of Thomas R.
