DescriptionThree gold colored tassels made of wrapped gold-colored metallic threads in a knotwork pattern. These are suspended from a bundle of black threads. Two of the tassels are on attached bundles, one is separate. The metallic threads do not appear to be real gold, look like modern synthetic substitute. These tassels on cords greatly resemble the waist ties for salwar trousers worn in Pakistan shown in Askari and Crill's book, Colours of the Indus.On View
