DescriptionInstrument is large boat - shaped of wood with membrane sound table. Four holes in sound table. Twisted strings of fiber are tied to a long piece of wood set into sound table. The strings are graduated in size, the thinnest being the shortest. Red twisted cords attached to strings are fastened to the long curved neck. Metallic gold tassels hand from ends of cords. Membrane is painted gold, base is painted black, neck is natural wood.On View
