DescriptionPad saddle w/ quillwork. Two pieces of deerskin, sinew-sewn and stuffed with fur, form the pad. Saddle is covered with denticulated side borders and fringe ends are sinew-sewn to the pad. Each of the four corners of the saddle has a circular medallion, with a rim of fringe attached to the underside of each disk. The fringe is quill-wrapped in red, white, and green. The front of pad is plaited with elaborate quillwork designs consisting of medallions and small triangular designs. Pad is trimmed with quill-wrapped decoration in red, white, blue, and green.Read Catalogue #65
