DescriptionCast brass pen case with attached inkwell incised with animals, various border designs, and Arabic inscriptions. Top of pen case opens. Squarish inkwell with bulbous sides. Scallop shell for cover over inkwell hole. (Brass pen case made of brass sheets with inkwell.) Pen case opens in one side with clover-shaped knob decoration attached by hinges. Animals, stylized Arabic calligraphy and simple designs decorate the body of the pen case on all four sides. Inkwell attaches near pen case opening at top and both lay horizontally. Inkwell has a pillow/cube shape with bulbous sides decorated with Arabic calligraphy. The lid to inkwell is a scalloped shaped shell located on the top attached by hinges.On View
