DescriptionPipe and pipe case, Japanese. Pipe, reed, stem with pewter bowl and mouth piece, decorated with black and gold paint. Case carved from dark wood to represent sctions of bamboo. Made in two pieces which fit together as fountain pen and top. Bone stick, pointed at one end and spatulated at the other in case with pipe, possibly for cleaning, tamping, etc.On View
