DescriptionCharacteristic Mezcala style - very worn. Humanoid figure carved in hard gray mottled stone. The overall shape of the piece is a cylindircal celt and flattened top and the feet coming to a point when seen from the side. Polished. The head is almost 1/2 of the total height. The eyes and mouth are indicated by scooped areas, the nose, chin, and brow are defined by sharp ridges. The arms are indicated by diagonal grooves, the legs are defined by a carved out separation.
