DescriptionMetal shaft with carved wooden handle, into which is carved a wooden ring at the end. The tip is metal. The cover is of black silk with a fringe attached above the bottom edge. There is a lining of white silk. Both type and lining have scalloped edges. What was once what appears to be a tassel is attached at the base of the tip.
