DescriptionShallow bowl on a small hollow pedestal. In the center, a tree with turquoise and blue glaze or paint, with a seated figure on each side. Background and costumes filled with small spirals and "peacock eyes". Framed by a blue line. Sides of the bowl decorated with three bands: solid blue on top; tan with remains of white caligraphy seperated by a blue line from; white band with tan. On the outside a repeated motif of lines and floral- possibly calligraphy. The scene of tree figures should probably have contained a pool with fish--this portion has been reconstructed with spirals.
