DescriptionWoven basket in similar shape as bowl. Stirps run horizontally around the basket to give it shape. A vertical, slightly diagonal pattern is used over this. Beneath this is a sideways v-shaped pattern, and these alternate throughout. Two very small twisted handles (although too close to get one's fingers through to hold) extend from opposite sides. One side has a knotted looped piece of fiber. The other handle is knotted and attaches around the similar baskets of 1955.14.116 and 1955.14.117. On the level bottom the pattern spirals inward in a coil.
