DescriptionTwo piece afternoon dress of blue floral striped silk satin on brown taffeta. The pattern is woven into the fabric. The skirt has two deep rows of pleats on the lower half of the front, with a draped overskirt above. The back falls in pleats from the waistband, with a small row of pleats at the hemline. The bodice is boned and fitted with a row of steel buttons closing it at the center front, with pleats to either side. The semi-fitted sleeve made in two pieces has cuffs with rows of pleats encircling the edge. The bodice has a small standing collar and is lined with glazed brown cotton twill. The skirt has a center back closing and is lined with navy blue glazed cotton. There is a hidden pocket at the right side front, and stiffening under the back pleats and hem, which is also corded.On View
