DescriptionChippendale style drop leaf table with cabriole legs and ball and claw feet. The leaves of this table are made to hang down on hinges from the sides of the central section. Each of the leaves when raised is supported by one leg which swings outward to form a right angle with the frame. When both leaves are raised the top of the table is rectangular. The edge of the top has a rounded moulding. The apron at each end of the frame has been carved in a decorative scalloped manner. The table is made of a light walnut a golden yellow-tan color. The walnut varies in grain and has several knots. The secondary wood used is pine.On View
