DescriptionThe table is made of rosewood and mahogany. It has two leaves, the corners of which are collapsed. Round wooden pulls at the ends of the table are decorative. The base of the table is connected to the top with metal screws and wooden pieces. The rounded pedestal is carved in various patterns which include cross hatching, rope motif, acanthus leaves, athenmion, and a collar which seems to be buds with leaves at various stages of growth. The four legs are attached to the base by metal bands and screws. They are carved in acanthus leaves and are finished in lions paws set on brass casters.On View
