DescriptionCommemorative plate of George VI. Midsize plate. The eating surface is richly decorated with royal seal, lion, and unicorn. Gold-leafing rings the outer edge in two sections, these border the words "King George the VI and Queen Elizabeth". The center of dish is signed "F. A. Robinson". The back of the plate is slightly yellowed and is marked "Paragon by Appointment" with a maker's mark. Printed words also describe the reason for its commemoration and the date of coronation.On View
