DescriptionFan with carved sandalwood sticks and paper mount. The sticks are carved in relief with small oriental figures in a variety of poses, with leaaves and small areas of pierced slats. End sticks have one heavily carved surface. Paper mount is composed of two layers of paper glued together: one side blue with painted flowers and butterflies; verso faded red paper with flowers and birds. Metal loop handle with silk tassel.
