DescriptionA small, green ovoid textile, whipstitched from two half ovals together to form a whole. Each piece individually lined and hemmed. Whole is embroidered in many colors. Worked in chain and satin stitches to form geometric patterns. There is also rick-rack applique. Function of this small textile mat is a mystery. Note: There are seven similar articles in the Conger collection.
