DescriptionBlack, carved ebony sticks, sequins and tulle. Boxed: Label: John Daniell, Sons and Sons.A black fabric and carved wood folding fan, decorated with sewn-on sequins. The fabric is a sheer black weave and the sequins are sewn onto the front side in a regular, all-over pattern. The wood spokes and ends are carved and embellished with metal circular inlays. The fan is hinged with a metal (brass?) rivet, to which is connected a brass hanging loop. Fan comes in a cardboard box - white, marked "John Daniell, Sons and Sons, Jewelry Dep't Broadway 8th and 9th Streets."
