DescriptionTwined construction, knotted-coiled start with false-embroidered black geometric design of two step-like horizontal bands around basket and two bands of rectangles on the lid. Cylindrical shape. Lid has a flat knob containing pebbles (gizzard stones of the grouse) (p. 153). Pattern called "Shaman's hat" or literally "spirit around the head" (p. 154).
