DescriptionPestle - shaped black/dark gray stone pounding tool. Long, cylindrically shaped stone with two flattened, slightly flared ends, the top being smaller in diameter than the bottom. Bottom surface of pounder is rougher and shows many indentations and lighter colored stone, probably from use.
