DescriptionSmall shelved shell house/shrine with detachable lid covered with small and medium sized shells. The face of the object appears like a window which is lined with small shells (43) and brass, which looks into an empty interior, with 2 shelves. The base of the shell house is lined with a single row of 24 of the same small shiny shells. The sides and rear of the "house" appears to be a "lepord-like" bark (brown and yellow) and is very smooth. The whole house, is VERY light and fragile. The lid of the house has a thin brass lining along edges, yet it is very blackened, no longer the 'gold' brass color. Then, it is lined with the small shiny shells (51) and a variety of larger shells in the middle.
