DescriptionMask is carved of light colored soft wood. Facial features are human. There are small holes drilled through each eye. Mouth and nostrils are also open through to reverse. Strip of shredded cedar bark is threaded through the nostrils and tied in back of mask. Colors used are black, red, and blue paint. Black is used for the eyes, eyebrows and what appears to be a mustache. Red is used for nose, lips, chin and circles and ovoids on forehead. Blue for a sweeping stroke on the right cheek and cross - hatching on the left cheek. Two holes are also drilled on either side of the mask near the cheeks.
