DescriptionGrayish-white piece of flat, broad whale bone with a hole roughly hewn out for gripping purposes. Rhomboid shaped, resulting in an angular blade edge. Darker side of bone is concave; lighter side of bone is smooth with the marrow exposed in the last several inches near the edge. Edge is worn, shiny and smooth, indicating use.
