Description(ABCO: American Bank Note Company Paper) A Sheet of four unsigned bank notes for Windham County Bank, that is uncut and printed in black, green and red on thin almost transparent paper. The top two notes are one dollar. The lower left corners of these notes depict a farm scene with three horses, sheep and goats. The lower right corner is a side view of a seated man within an oval. The third note is a two dollar note. Five cows are rendered in the center foreground, to the left within a circle is a man plowing with two horses, and to the right within an oval is a woman holding a sheaf of wheat. The five dollar bank note contains the Vermont state seal flanked by two prancing horses in the center foreground. An Indian head within an oval frame is depicted in the lower left corner. All four notes have in red the number "24501". All have: The windham County Bank will pay (one, two, five) dollars to the bearer on demand; Brattleboro, March___, 18__, Cash____, Pres.___, printed in the upper center of the note; State of Vermont, and Danforth, wright & co. New York & Philad Sheet of four uncut and uncirculated banknotes. The top two are one dollar notes and feature three horses drinking from a trough. The third is a two dollar note and features a scene with cattle. The fourth is a five dollar note and features the state seal flanked by two horses. These are printed with green ink and black ink details on white paper.
