DescriptionThe design of the spindle must have been created by using a lathe and chisel as it is a cylindrical and symmetrical shape. The center of the spindle has a hole drilled all the way through and then packed with a loop of what appears to be leather. One end of the spindle has another, smaller hole drilled all the way through; that is empty. See drawing on paper record.On View
