DescriptionMountain sheep horn spoon with incised design and mother of pearl inlay. Handle is ridged at tip with several rows of horizontal stripes. Design on inner handle and bowl show two eyes and mouths with bared teeth-the Dogfish design. Design on back of spoon shows two eyes, nose and mouth with bared teeth as well as two hands or claws (the Dogfish design). Incised design lines are filled in with red pigment. Spoon has gentle overall curve. Handle narrows at tip.
