DescriptionWooden potlatch ladle, the back of the spoon is incised with typical Northwest Coast Indian motifs - a large toothy mouth, ears, and eye joints in low relief. Made to resemble a fish, most likely a salmon. Wood is shiny from oil and/or grease. Piece has a gentle overall curve.On View
